Danya Bilinsky is currently based in London, United Kingdom.

Her love for travel has taken her to over 40 countries.

She feels her most creative when she is on the road but also enjoys exploring the Aussie backyard through the lens of her camera.

Danya has taken introductory, intermediate and advanced courses at the internationally recognised Australian Centre for Photography (ACP) and has had a number of her photographs displayed in the ACP Student Exhibitions.

Although taking courses in Digital photography, Danya has a passion for testing out film cameras, with her collection of weird and wonderful cameras expanding by the year.

On a trip to India in 2007, Danya did some pro-bono photography work for an International Micro-Finance Organisation. She was warmly welcomed into some of the most poor communities in Chennai and given an opportunity to tell the locals' stories through her images.

In 2008 Danya was listed as one of the Top 30 photographers in the Shutterbug Photography Competition for her series of photographs taken in Cusco, Peru.

In September 2008 Danya took part in a group exhibition with painters, photographers and poets at Studio W in Woolloomooloo. The 'Interpretations' exhibition was successful for Danya, with the sale of eight of her thirteen works on opening night.

In March 2010 Danya was an official photographer for the Secret Garden Festival in Sydney, Australia.

In May 2010 she moved to London where she now contributes to the Spectator magazine's food section, Spectator Scoff!. 

Every photograph on this site is for sale as a limited edition print of 100. Each photograph will be numbered and signed by the photographer.
